Judge Farren Sheehan is a Central Texas native who lived in Pflugerville before the population was 1,000. She left to obtain her B.A. from Southern Methodist University and graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School in 1997. Following law school, Ms. Sheehan worked as a Public Defender in Dallas County where she gained extensive courtroom experience. Afterwards, she returned to Pflugerville to open a private practice.
Over the past 20 years, her focus has primarily included estate planning, real estate, civil litigation and probate (“death and dirt”) law. Ms. Sheehan is a presenter for statewide Continuing Legal Education courses. She has also served as both planning committee member and Course Director for Intermediate Estate Planning.
In 2018, Ms. Sheehan was appointed as Presiding judge of the City of Pflugerville and in 2020 Ms. Sheehan was appointed to be a Bee Cave Municipal Judge. Since then she has joined the faculty of Texas Municipal Courts Education League teaching seminars all over the State of Texas.
